Martin Receives Capital Educators' Award!

Last week, the Ottawa Network for Education hosted its 15th Annual EduGala to recognize the achievements of outstanding educators within the Capital region. Our Mobility & Politics collective made a strong appearance that evening to cheer on our very own team lead, Martin Geiger.

Not only was Martin a nominee and a finalist, but was awarded one of the 2016 Capital Educators’ Awards!!

Martin is a dedicated advocate for students and an inspirational leader both in the classroom and throughout his own extensive research. He continues to make significant impacts within the lives of students across the globe and he should be applauded for his active strives in bridging the student-professor gap! We could not be more proud of him and are honoured to have such an inspiring professor supporting the work that we do!

We would also like to send our congratulations to Carleton University’s Nduka Otiono and Christopher Dieni on their respected awards and inspiring work!
