Will the Global Compact Make Any Difference in Migration Governance? Lessons Learnt From Migration Management and Where to Go From Here

Professor Martin Geiger was invited to deliver a speech at the U.N. Global Compact on Migration & Human Rights public conference which discussed the nexus between the global compact on migration and human rights with the adoption of the New York Declaration for Refugees and Migrants by the U.N. General Assembly.. The conference took place on 5th of April  in Geneva and was organized by the Global Migration Centre and Queen Mary University of London.
