PhD Candidate in Sociology at Carleton University (Canada)
Victoria has authored and co-authored publications on gender and migration in Latin America. With support from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, she is currently working on her PhD dissertation, which examines migrations and mobilities on the railways of southern Mexico. Victoria holds an M.A. in Latin American Studies from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (U.N.A.M) and a B.A. in Development Studies from the University of Calgary.
